Programme: Implementing HSG 248.

The latest update of HSG 248 is due for publication (both hard copy and online) in late July. The UKAS timetable for accredited laboratories to implement new procedures and requirements state that changes should be submitted between September and the end of 2021. Hence, we anticipate that by early September most laboratories will be familiar with the new HSG248, although not necessarily have all the solutions in place. This FAAM webinar aims to provide a forum for all accredited asbestos analytical organisations to discuss approaches and common issues.

Three speakers will each provide a short presentation on the main issues that have already been raised. This will be followed by a panel discussion on any other queries or problems raised by attendees.
